First of all, thank you those that attended, it was a great ride! We met at the service station just after 11am. Tara was the first to arrive. Very organised! We waited a little for the late arrival and killed time by pumping the tyres and taking photos: .. and by looking good: Finally, when the late arrivals finally made it (we will not mention names), we left the station: First stop was the Fitzroy Falls. None of us have been there before, so we just had to stop there. In a nutshell, it is a whole bunch of water falling down from fairly high up: A quick photo opportunity. Make a happy face, ignore that chilling wind!: Group photo opportunity. That day will be know as «the day of horrible lighting, grotesque shadows and poor photography»: We then proceeded onto the Kangaroo Valley: A-a-a-h, the Valley. It is all divided into farm properties, but what do the grow here, the views? Just as we came down the mountain, we slowed down for a bit of a play: And some poor-light photography: And to impress the girls a little by going rather fast through corners: And to show off REALLY LOUD BLOODY MUFFLERS on a straight: And to show-off near perfect posture (sorry, have to compliment myself as no one else does): That play worked up an appetite and a few kilometres later we entered Kangaroo Valley, where we filled up at speculative prices: … and made our way to the pub: Another photo opportunity: It was time to give the bikes a rest and treat ourselves to a mighty feast: Unfortunately, Tara had to leave early: Well, you missed out on a great meal: It was so irresistible that even some locals joined in: It was starting to get dark and we had to make it out of the mountains before it gets really cold, so that was it for us. Until next time: We made it to Berry before the sunset and almost froze our bits off for the last hour of the trip, from Wollongong to Sydney: See you next time and safe riding to you all!
